Terms of use

1. The service

UCA Tidy Organizer ("Tidy") is a desktop app for Windows that organises desktop items into fences, together with this website, your account and the licence service.

2. Account

You need an account with a valid email address. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens with your account. One person per account.

3. Free trial

Each new account gets a free 7-day trial with all features. There is one trial per person, email address and PC; we may end a trial that was obtained by creating additional accounts. No payment details are needed for the trial.

4. Subscription and payment

After the trial, the full feature set costs EUR 3.50 per month as a subscription. Payments are handled by Dodo Payments as merchant of record; their terms apply to the purchase, and prices include VAT where applicable. The subscription renews monthly until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in your account ("Manage subscription"); you keep access until the end of the paid month. Without an active subscription or trial the app keeps showing your fences, but auto-tidy, templates, folder portals and editing are locked.

5. Licence

You may use Tidy on up to 3 of your own PCs at a time. You may not resell, share or circumvent the licence check. Updates are included while your trial or subscription is active.

6. Your files

Tidy arranges items on your desktop; it only moves files into folders when you switch that on for a rule, and its moves can be undone. Still, keep backups of important data. Tidy never deletes files on its own (deleting goes to the Recycle Bin only when you choose it).

7. Availability and liability

We work to keep the service available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation; the app works offline for 7 days. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health; otherwise only for breaches of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable, typical damage. Mandatory consumer protection law remains unaffected.

8. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

Your purchase is made with Dodo Payments as merchant of record; withdrawal rights are handled according to their terms. By starting the subscription you agree that the digital service begins immediately.

9. Changes and ending

We may change these terms with notice by email; if you do not agree, you can cancel. You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

10. Law

German law applies, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
